Mobile Apps
One Two Sell on iPhone and Android — both apps are live on the App Store and Google Play. What's in them, how they differ from the web app, and how one account works across all three.
Both apps are out
One Two Sell for iPhone is on the App Store and One Two Sell for Android is on Google Play. Same account, same deals, same tokens as the web app — in your pocket.
One Two Sell runs on three platforms, and they are the same product rather than a full version and two companions:
| Platform | Where | Current version |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone / iPad | App Store | 1.5.9 |
| Android | Google Play | 1.39.6 |
| Web | web.12sell.app | Continuously deployed |
Android requires Android 7.0 or newer. Both apps are free, and everything you can do on them is priced exactly as it is on web.
One account, three devices
Sign up on any platform and sign in on the others with the same phone number and password. There is nothing to migrate and nothing to link.
These all live on your account, not on a device, and appear everywhere within seconds:
- Your deals, showcases and tales.
- Your items and offers — the catalogue products you sell and the prices under them.
- Your messages, including group chats, read state and typing indicators.
- Your token balance, however you topped it up.
- Your profile, verification and company.
- Your followers, following, blocks and notification preferences.
Only two things are per-device: your theme (light/dark) and your sign-in session. Signing out of the app doesn't sign you out of the browser.
What's in the apps
Everything that matters is on all three platforms:
- Deals and Showcases — browse, filter, post, edit, boost.
- Items — the whole catalogue: Discover, search, filters, item pages, supplier offers, My Items, the offer editor, archiving and item requests.
- Tales — post and watch 24-hour tales.
- Messaging — one-to-one and group chats in real time, with voice messages, attachments, reactions and replies.
- Explore — the discovery surface, including hand-picked catalogue items.
- Verification, Private Lists, Tokens, Referrals and all of Settings.
What only the apps do
| Feature | Why it's mobile-only |
|---|---|
| Push notifications on your phone | Notifications arrive through APNs (iOS) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) |
| Sending stickers | The sticker picker is in the mobile composer. The web app can display stickers others send, but not send them |
| Camera capture | Photograph stock straight into a deal, showcase or tale |
| App Lock | Fingerprint, face or device PIN gating the app after a timeout — Android |
| Add to Apple Wallet | Save a shared profile or deal as a Wallet pass — iPhone |
| Catalogue step during sign-up | iPhone's profile setup adds an offer step so you can price what you sell before your first deal |
What only the web app does
| Feature | Where |
|---|---|
| Affiliate dashboard and payouts | Joining, tracking and requesting payouts live at web.12sell.app. Your invite link still attributes signups from every platform |
| My Items CSV export and price import | Download your whole selling list as a spreadsheet, edit prices in bulk, upload it back |
| Public, crawlable pages | Deal, showcase, item and profile pages that Google can index and that you can paste into an email |
| Cookie preferences | A browser-only setting |
Everything else — every feed, every form, every setting — is on all three.
Links open in the app
If you have the app installed and someone sends you a One Two Sell link, tapping it opens the app on that exact screen rather than the browser. This works through iOS Universal Links and Android App Links, and covers:
- Profiles —
web.12sell.app/user/{slug} - Deals and showcases — including a specific post from a notification
- Catalogue items — an item link opens the item page in the app, with its offers
- Private list invites and group chat invites
If you don't have the app, the same link opens the web page. Nothing is lost either way.
Notifications on mobile
Push is the main reason to have the app. See Notifications for the full list, but in short you'll be woken for:
- New messages and message reactions.
- Deals and showcases matching your interests.
- New offers on items you follow, and when someone quotes an item you sell.
- Verification progress, token events and announcements.
Tapping a notification opens the thing it's about, not the home screen.
Buying tokens on mobile
Tokens are the same balance everywhere, but the checkout differs by store rules:
- iPhone — Apple In-App Purchase, billed to your Apple ID.
- Android — Google Play Billing, billed to your Google account.
- Web — Stripe: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
Buy on one and the tokens are immediately spendable on the others.
Keeping the app current
Both apps check their own version on launch. When a release fixes something that matters, you'll see an update prompt — usually optional, occasionally required if the old build can no longer talk to the platform safely. Tapping it opens your store.
Turn on automatic updates in your store if you'd rather never see the prompt. Each release's changes are listed on the App Store or Google Play listing, and anything significant also arrives as an announcement inside the app.
Common questions
Do I need the app, or is the web app enough?
The web app is complete — you can run your entire business from it. The apps add push notifications, the camera, and the fact that your phone is already in your hand when a buyer replies. Most active traders use both.
Can I be signed in on my phone and my laptop at once?
Yes, on as many devices as you like. Open Settings → Active Devices to see every session and end any you don't recognise.
If I post a deal on my phone, is it on the web too?
Immediately. There is one set of your content, served to whichever device you open.
Is Items on the apps?
Yes — the full catalogue, offers, My Items and the offer editor are on iPhone and Android as well as web. The only items feature still web-only is the CSV export and bulk price import.
Why does the app ask for my location?
For two things, both optional: setting your business address, and sharing your location in a chat when you choose to send one. Decline it and everything else works normally — you just type the address yourself.
I'm signed in on the app but the web app asks me to sign in again
Sessions are per-device by design. Sign in once in the browser and it stays signed in across 12sell.app, web.12sell.app and this documentation site.
