How to sign back into your 12sell account on web, iOS and Android — including password reset and how sessions stay active across devices.
Once your account is created (see Sign Up), you sign back in with your email and password, or with Google or Apple — whichever you used at sign up.
Your 12sell account is the same across web, iOS and Android — sign in once on each device and the app remembers you.
Signing in
- Open 12sell — web (web.12sell.app), iOS, or Android.
- Tap Sign In.
- Either:
- Enter the email and password you used at sign up, then tap Sign In; or
- Tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple and pick the account you signed up with.
You'll land on the Deals feed by default.
If your password is wrong, you'll see "Invalid email or password. Please try again."
Signing in with Google or Apple
If you signed up with Google or Apple, just tap the matching button each time — there's no password to remember. If you'd rather also have an email-and-password login, set one from Settings → Profile Settings → Set Password. Once set, either method signs you in.
If your email isn't confirmed yet, you'll see "Please check your email to confirm your account before signing in." — open the verification email 12sell sent at sign up and click the link, then try signing in again.
Forgot your password
If you can't remember your password, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen.
- Enter the email associated with your account.
- 12sell sends a password reset link to that email.
- Click the link — it opens 12sell with a "Set new password" screen.
- Choose a new password (minimum 6 characters).
- You're signed in and ready to go.
The reset link is single-use and expires after a short time. If you don't get the email, check spam, then request another one.
Staying signed in
12sell keeps you signed in on each device. You won't have to enter your password every time you open the app or come back to the website.
- Web — your session is shared across
12sell.app,web.12sell.app, anddocs.12sell.app. Sign in once on the web app and the marketing site and this docs site recognize you too (the Get Started button changes to My Dashboard). - iOS / Android — sessions persist as long as you don't sign out, your password isn't changed, and the device isn't logged out remotely.
If your session expires (which happens after long inactivity, or if you change your password elsewhere), 12sell asks you to sign in again with your email and password.
App lock (mobile)
On Android, you can add an extra layer of security to the app after you sign in:
- Go to Settings → App Lock.
- Turn on App Lock.
- Pick a timeout — Immediately, 1 minute, 15 minutes, or 1 hour.
- Choose your unlock method: fingerprint, face, or device PIN/password/pattern as fallback.
Once App Lock is on, the app re-prompts for biometric authentication after the timeout each time you bring it to the foreground. Your sign-in session stays active — App Lock is separate from sign-in and doesn't sign you out.
App Lock is a privacy feature for shared devices. It doesn't replace your password — it just gates access on this specific device.
Signing out
- Web — Profile menu → Sign out.
- iOS / Android — Settings → Sign out.
12sell asks you to confirm before signing out, so you don't lose your session by an accidental tap. Signing out clears your session on this device only. Other devices stay signed in until they're individually signed out.
Common questions
Why am I being asked to sign in again?
Sessions can expire for a few reasons:
- You changed your password from another device.
- An admin has asked you to re-authenticate.
- You've been signed out remotely (e.g. from your account settings on another device).
- The session naturally expired after long inactivity.
Just sign in with your email and password and you're back in.
Can I sign in with my phone number?
You signed up with your phone, but recurring sign-in uses your email and password (or Google / Apple if you signed up with one of those). The phone number is your one-time identity proof at sign up; it isn't a day-to-day login method.
If you lose access to your email, contact 12sell support — recovery requires manual identity verification.
Can I be signed in on multiple devices at once?
Yes. Web, iOS, and Android can all be signed in at the same time on the same account, and changes (new messages, new deals, profile edits) sync between them in real time.
What if I forget which email I used?
If you have access to your phone number, contact support — they can look up the email tied to your phone. Otherwise, try the most recent email addresses you've used and use the Forgot password link to test which one is registered.
Does 12sell support Sign in with Google or Apple?
Yes — both. You can sign in with Continue with Google or Continue with Apple if you used them at sign up. Either way, phone verification at sign up still ties every account to a real number, which is what makes the network usable for B2B trust. If you signed up with email, keep using email and password (or add Google/Apple support by setting them up — they unlock once you've used them once).
